51 Wadebridge Foundry Wadebridge
Operating 1833-1958. Set up c.1833 by William Oaty, who had worked at Hayle Foundry. Built smaller engines (up to 40"). Continued as founders and general engineers (styled Oaty & Sons, later Oaty & Martin) until it closed down in 1945. However, JTS#25p50: 1943-1958 Eric Shaw (trading as Oaty & Martin).
